After nearly two years, Rusev’s reign as the King of New Nashville has officially come to an end. He had a good run, and we’re certainly bummed that we had to make this announcement on Rusev Day no less. Some might call this a sad day, but the people have spoken, and we here at SoBros Network intend to honor their decision to elect Taylor Lewan as the NEW official unofficial King of New Nashville.

There you have it, folks. It’s in the books. 16 people voted, and those 16 people decided that Lewan should take the crown. This might be a good time to catch
What is “New Nashville?” “New Nashville” refers to the paradigm shift in the Music City – how it’s evolved from rhinestones, crime, and Gerry House to a cultural mecca for entertainment, art, food, and fun.
Therefore, the King of New Nashville is the man who best represents these values. #77 is that guy. I don’t know that there’s a more universally loved figure among young Nashvillians. It doesn’t matter what kind of music you listen to, or where you stand on Mayor Megan Barry slingin’ it on the side – we all unite under the aura of Taylor Lewan.
If you’ve paid attention to this web site, we’ve covered important things such as him referring to haters as “pickles on a sandwich,” and I once called him a top three NFL tackle. Yes, I’m still willing to die on that hill.
He has great taste in mustaches and hats, has a doppleganger that is an Olympic curler, crushes beers at Preds games, fights for his quarterback (must revisit), and is an overall electric guy. Some might say he’s a real guy’s dude and a real dude’s guy.
So, it’s a big day for Lewan. It’s a big day for Nashville. And, it’s yet another justification to celebrate #GinFriday and wave at the haters. Now, to update the lineage of the King of New Nashville crown:

March 2018-Present: Taylor Lewan
It’s certainly a momentous day for Lewan. I know this bodes well for his case for 2018 ‘SoBro of the Year’ as well. I just know he’s proud. I know the city of Nashville is happy today as we follow our new King into the future. The streets will overflow with the blood of our enemies. Sorry…that was a really graphic way to say, “Nashville vs. The World.” Anyway…..Wakanda forever.
