Zach Cooper was on a roll as 2019 came to an end and 2020 began. Fun fact: Zach was going to be our first interview of WrestleMania Week before the covid crushed our dreams. Nonetheless, he hopped on a call with John Mosley and myself for the latest episode of Checks and Championships – a guest we’d been hoping to pin down for quite some time.
On the show, we talk about his roots in his Tennessee – some of his work in SUP and of course, the legendary show-stealer between Cooper, Manders, and Big Beef at SCI Futures last year. We highlight his signing with MLW, talk about the time we almost got drawn into a fight at Five Points Pizza, and MUCH more. This one was a ton of fun.
There’s also a lit bit of football talk and we may or may not break down some Tompa Bay football, and the best wide receivers in the NFL.
