I don’t know about you guys, but I’m still recovering from that odd spell between Christmas and New Year’s Day that just feels like a void of time and space. I have probably tripled the amount of chins I once had, and have no idea how many days have past. It’s proving rather difficult to get back into the regular work routine. Thankfully, I’ve stumbled upon some wholesome content for those of you who might also be struggling to get through this most Monday of Mondays. It’s a dog going to Build-A-Bear.

You know what? I can be a bit of an old curmudgeon when it comes to the internet and social media. Maybe I’m just jaded by the fact that I run an internet company and, for the most part, am sucked into social media on a daily basis. I mean, it’s ultimately a gauge for how well all of our bullshit articles are being received by the masses. I see raw pageviews, sure, but it’s the reaction on Facebook and Twitter that tells me whether people actually like what they read or not. So, yeah – I have to stay plugged in.
And, that can take a toll on you if you let it. There’s so much negativity on social media that you can lose sight of the good it can do. Are you getting teary eyed thinking about this or is it just me? Maybe this video just hit me funny this morning. I’m suddenly being overwhelmed with emotion. This video is just so moving to this old man’s ice cold dead black heart. This could be the beginning of a Disney movie – the old man who hates the internet discovers dog videos and learns to love humanity again. It’s like the SoBros Network’s version of A Christmas Carol. Wait – I’m losing track of this article or journalism. We’ve gone off the rails fast.
