SEC Media Days Are Coming to Nashville in 2021

SEC Media Days, the best part of the summer, is officially underway. Not a single coach has taken the podium yet, but man oh man do we have a doozy of a piece of news to share. Apparently, our very own beloved Music City, Nashville, Tennessee will play host to SEC Media Days in a couple of years.

SEC Football Media Days will come to Nashville in 2021, Commissioner Greg Sankey announced here Monday.

It will be held at the Grand Hyatt, set to open in fall 2020 at 1000 Broadway.

Big time get for Nashville. This is an event that we’ve covered for three years now, even though the SEC will never give us press passes. That’s okay, though, because thankfully, Poppa Bear’s commentary is just as witty and insightful without it.

But, hopefully, HOPEFULLY, 2021 will be our year. If not, we can just cover the event from our own hotel room.

Basically, what I’m saying is I just need an excuse to pay for a room at that swanky new Grand Hyatt that they’re building.

Anyway, Nashville continues to add big events to its resumé – one can’t help but wonder how long it’s going to be before we start realistically talking about Super Bowls, National Championships, Final Fours, and of course, WrestleManias.

SEC Media Days has become a staple of the football calendar – I can’t wait to see what it’s like right here in our own backyard. This is something to look forward to, football fans. LFG!
