Beta Ray Greg Presents: Spider-Man FFH Theories and Potential Spoilers

ONE AND ONLY WARNING!

Alright. So, my theories may not amount to anything more than the rantings of an unusually talented chicken who found out how to type, but I’m holding on to some hope that I’ll strike gold. Here, I’ll lay out some popular internet theories on the Multiverse, Spider-Man, and Phase Four. I’ve also got a bad ass theory that I came up with if we’re running with this whole “Multiverse in the MCU” thing. Giddy-up and hit the ground running.

Let us start with a few popular theories for Far From Home and Spider-Man and we’ll go on from there.

The Multiverse isn’t real.

This one holds some weight, honestly. The person of interest that makes or breaks this is…Mysterio. Is he really from another Earth? Did he really come here for help? Is this all a mass illusion by the Master of Illusions as the Spider-Man cartoon show showed us? If it’s all fake, does Nick Fury know? I for one don’t buy the whole ‘good guy’ Mysterio. I also want the Multiverse to be real. I’m torn.

Venom Crossover

Some have a theory that the introduction of the Multiverse to Spider-Man has deeper cinematic tendrils. If this is the introduction of endless universes, why can’t it be so that we see a meet up with Venom of Sony’s Venom movie? At the very least, now we have the knowledge that beings like Venom are out there. I’d welcome that and Hardy into the MCU with open arms. Now lets get Carnage

The Parkers were S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents

This one seems fun. The theory goes, Peter’s parents were Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when they died mysteriously. Were they working on a secret science project gone wrong? This has merits but I’d only want to see it if they were betrayed by a partner or friend…Norman Osborn.

Sinister Six reigns!

Gees, how long have they been touting this around? Just do it already. We’ve seen this since Amazing Spider-Man had Paul Giamatti in a robotic Rhino suit. Latest was in the after credit scene in prison during Homecoming. Just do it.

Michelle is Fury’s niece

This is the spot where the internet disappoints me. This, this is what you came up with? GTFO.

Nick Fury isn’t real and Chameleon is the real bad guy

This goes back to what I’ve said to all my friends from the beginning, Fury doesn’t seem right. Something seems to be off about Nick. This would be a good way to really throw things for a loop. My only reservation is Maria Hill. She’s there and she knows Nick Fury better than anyone. So who’s the real fool?

End credit scene will be Parker getting a new scholarship….to the Baxter Building.

Holy crap. I would mess my pants over this. What better way to really jump start all of Phase Four with a huge reveal? I’m all over this one. Take the left one Doc, I’m willing to sacrifice.

Dark Avengers are the new big bad for Phase Four

This movie can set up an absolute ton of story arcs, but most key is the introduction of Oscorp. If they even hint in that direction, you better believe that the Dark Avengers won’t be far behind that. They won’t be doing the Goblin shit again.

Multiverse is real. Mysterio came from the Ultimate Universe and Miles is going to be introduced.

Why the hell not? Miles Morales is so hot right now. Animated film Into the Spiderverse and Dan Slott’s Spidergeddon blockbuster comic run heavily featured Miles. This is the introduction we deserve.

Phase Four and one new bad guy is Augustus Roman, Regent.

I’ll be up front. This is my personal theory. I saw a fan art photo of MJ (Zendaya) as Spinnerette that really set this off in my head. Wait who? and Who? Regent was a character dreamt up for the Secret Wars ending of the multiverse in 2016. Since then, He’s shown up in Amazing Spider-Man by Dan Slott and the Renew Your Vows. In Renew Your Vows, Peter is retired from Spider-Man to protect MJ, his wife, and Annie, his daughter, from harm.

Augustus Roman is a businessman who builds a prison to house empowered individuals, heroes or villains. Secretly he has built a suit to steal and house the powers of those Empowered. He becomes the super villain Regent, nearly omnipotent with the powers he amasses.

Spinnerette comes after Secret Wars and during Renew Your Vows vol. 2. MJ wants in on the crime fighting life. If Peter is going to risk his life to keep his daughter safe then so is she. Peter develops a red and white suit based on Regent power suit. She can draw off Spider-Man’s spider powers while he’s around. Annie (Spiderling) has all of Peter’s powers and more. I digress…

You can build a good basis for Regent for years. All of this is plausible. You got a great MJ to boot.

That’s it, sports fans.
