The advent of social media has changed our lives immensely over the course of the last decade. Last week, Rubber Rooster joined me for the latest episode of Phone It In, on which we decided to chat about the current state of the online world.
First, we rewind to the mid 2000s to talk about our introduction to the early design of social media (MySpace lololololol). Then we weigh in on some of the pros and cons of using social media in 2019.
I’ve always been rather cynical – maybe from years of managing SoBros Network’s social media and seeing the stupid ass side of it. But, Rooster is able to put quite a positive list of pros together to match my extensive list of cons (I hate Facebook).
But, since we don’t believe in complaining for the sake of complaining, we do offer some tips for how to be a better, smarter social media user!
