Every now and then, a story comes along that is so wholesome and pure that even we can’t make awful inappropriate jokes about it. Today is such a story, and as journalists who aim to make the world a better place, we HAVE to share it and bring happiness to the masses. It’s a beagle who has befriended a possum.

I need a Pixar movie about this duo STAT. Beagle loses her puppies. Possum is abandoned. I mean, it just writes itself!
This is like a modern day real life version of Homeward Bound. Kind of…no, actually, I don’t think this is anything like Homeward Bound. It’s just the only movie I could think of off the top of my head that involved animals. It’s probably been 24 years since I’ve even seen that movie – the hell was I thinking?
The truth is that nothing compares to this story. It’s in a league of its own, and if I’m Disney, I’m on the phone RIGHT NOW trying to learn more. Call up Christopher Nolan and get a trilogy in place. I’m talkin’ beagle and possum gimmicks on every major billboard in every major city.
Get Adele to write an inspiring song about this clip. It’s practically a gold mine.
This could very well be the feel good story of the decade.
