Stone Cold Steve Austin Doing ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ May Be His Most Electric Performance to Date

Thanks to an internet outage, you guys will be treated to two-day old content over the course of the next few articles. But, I’d rather post ’em late than lose the work altogether, so here we are. Stone Cold Steve Austin is a cultural icon and national treasure. I don’t think anyone’s going to debate Austin’s status as one of America’s greatest entertainers of all time of ever. But, here in 2019, Austin has changed the game. No, not by stepping into a wrestling ring, but by donning a pair of shades and belting out the famous Rick Astley hit, “Never Gonna Give You Up.

Where did this come from? Talk about ‘out of left field.’ It’s as if Stone Cold was watching people bitch about how boring that Super Bowl was and thought, “time for me to break the internet.”

Shit – on second thought – maybe that’s what caused my internet outage. I don’t know.

But, one thing I do know is that it is 2019, and Stone Cold Steve Austin had to by God do it to ’em. You better not forget who the most electric, toughest bastard in the land. Steve Austin still has his fuckin’ fastball and you better respect it.

So, naturally, this begs the question: what’s his most electric performance yet? “Never Gonna Give You Up” or WrestleMania XIX vs. The Rock? I know what I’m going with.
