Let’s face it – every day we are routinely bombarded with questions. When you’re an emerging media company in Nashville, people just want to know what your opinions are on everything. It’s only natural. And, since our duty is to serve the people, well, we have no choice but to be present. That’s the SoBro Way. Also, aren’t mailbags just a barrel of laughs anyway? Welcome to the newest weekly recurring feature up in this bitch: The SoBros Mailbag. As always, use #SoBrosMailbag to hit us up on Twitter.
Question:
Will the Patriots cover 2.5
— FantasyElite™️ (@B_rett615) January 31, 2019
Answer:
Absolutely – I have a full guide to the game here, but in short, I think the Pats ground game is going to control the tempo of the game. Bill Belichick is going to try and make Jared Goff beat ’em, and I don’t believe he gets that done.
Question:
Let’s talk fast food. What restaurant would you like to see in Nashville most? Examples Whataburger, Raising Cane’s and In-N-Out.
— Steven McCash (@MC_Cash75) January 31, 2019
Answer:
I want to try Raising Cane’s so bad – from everything I’ve seen, it just looks phenomenal. I haven’t had Whataburger or In-N-Out either. The closest I came was San Francisco. Was really looking forward to finally trying the fabled In-N-Out my first trip out to San Francisco, but the line was wrapped around the block and I have no patience for lines whatsoever. Honestly, I’d love if we could just get a decent Dunkin’ Donuts in the area. After trying one in New Jersey, I’ll never visit one around here again.
Question:
Setting the KFC Cheetos abomination aside, is there a sandwich + chips combination you would approve of?
— The Ultimate Worrier (@WorrierMN) January 31, 2019
Answer:
Absolutely – creamy peanut butter and original Pringles. Try it. It will change your life.
Question:
4 parter here. What’s the best super bowl food to make, what are the @SoBrosNetwork doing for the super bowl, what’s the best super bowl commercial ever, and what’s the worst super bowl halftime show you’ve seen?
— Armondo (@mightymondo) February 1, 2019
Answer:
1. I’m a big fan of the lil’ smokies in barbecue sauce. Also, big time cheese plate guy – give me some fine exquisite cheeses, olive, pepperoni, salami…put together a good spread and turn me loose.
2. I’ll actually be working. Planning to do some live-tweeting, watching the coverage and writing about any funny shit that pops up, and of course doing a game recap at the end of the night. So, no big parties for me. Probably just going to have a few beers and create some content.
3. Oh, man – so many come to mind, but it’s definitely the cat herders commercial to me. I don’t remember which Super Bowl it was from, but it was early 2000s era. That was some funny shit.
4. I know I probably shouldn’t speak ill of the legend, but the Paul McCartney halftime show was boring as hell.
Question:
You have to dress the @WKRN and crew in these outfits for a night out on Broadway…who wears what and where are you going. Same goes for the @SoBrosNetwork which outfits are you picking!? pic.twitter.com/ie28vulOnE
— Brent Remadna (@RemadnaWKRN) February 1, 2019
Answer:
WKRN (left to right): Bromondo, The Plush (that actually looks like a Plush suit already…), Neil, You, Breslow.
SoBros (left to right): Poppa Bear, Mose, Brandon, Cadbury, Me – I don’t wear light colors. I’m too fair skinned, the white/yellow just clashes. Gotta keep things black/navy, but still with some rhinestones and vibrant patches on it to show my electric personality.
…..and we’re going to Printer’s Alley. It’s a night that could likely end with all of us in jail.
