The NFL Conference Championships make for my personal favorite weekend in football. It’s the final four – the best of the best. Sometimes, you get a dud, but for the most part, these are some of the more exciting games of the season. This year looks like we’ll get two big time shoot-outs. If you believe Las Vegas, then both of these games are going to be hotly contested. The NFC Championship is up first, kicking off in the afternoon. The New Orleans Saints are currently a 3.5-point favorite over the visiting Los Angeles Rams. Then, you have the New England Patriots traveling to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. The Chiefs are favored by three.
It’s gunna be gooooood.
But, this is also the last day we’ll get multiple football games on until next fall. So, it’s a little bittersweet. The brevity of losing football season is starting to set in a bit. But, at the same time, we’re going to find out who’s gonna play in the Super Bowl! So, let’s not focus on silly things like emotions and just get drunk instead. It’s the annual SoBros Network NFL Conference Championship Drinking Game!

Take a drink if/when…
*Todd Gurley gets a touchdown.
*Drew Brees is mentioned as a “potential MVP candidate.”
*They roll highlights of the regular season meeting between these two teams.
*They talk about Sean McVay‘s quick rise through the coaching world.
*Michael Thomas catches a pass. You gon’ get lit up, motherfuckers.
*Someone mentions that C.J. Anderson was “picked up off the street” or otherwise talks about his improbably arrival to the Rams.
*Taysom Hill is on the field for a play.
Take a shot if/when…
*We get the footage of Brees holding his kid after winning the Super Bowl after the 2009 season.
*One of McVay’s assistants or anyone loosely associated with him is actually hired for a head coaching job during the game.
*There’s any mention or footage of Jeff Fisher shown.
AFC Championship Drinking Game
Take a drink if/when…
*They show the Patrick Mahomes no-look pass.
*Someone makes a comment about how old Tom Brady is.
*They roll highlights of the regular season meeting between these two teams.
*Tyreek Hill goes over 100 receiving yards. One drink for every catch after he tops 100 yards, too.
*They show the ridiculous Travis Kelce McDonald’s commercial.
*Brady throws a touchdown pass.
*Julian Edelman tops 10 receptions – you must subsequently drink for every reception he gets after 10, too.
Take a shot if/when…
*Someone talks about Rob Gronkowski retiring. Fuck that noise. Also, you must spike something after taking the shot.
*They mention that Andy Reid has never won a Super Bowl.
*Bill Belichick smiles.
