The 2019 SoBros Network Events Calendar
Preds Viewing Party (February) – We had a lot of fun at our Preds watch party earlier this year, so we plan to bring it back in 2019. Last year, we packed 30+ into Riverfront Tavern in Mount Juliet. Let’s see if we can top that next year – exact date and venue TBD.
Past Their Prime Combine II (March) – Our friends at Has Been Sports are down to bring this one back next spring, so we’re in. If you want to compete in NFL Draft Combine style competitions, feel free to come on out. Or, if you just want to watch grown ass out-of-shape adult men potentially injure themselves and then go get some beers with everyone, that’s fine too.
WrestleMania Weekend (April) – I may be more excited about this than anything else we’re doing next year. I’ve cleared it with Mose and it looks like we will be up in New Jersey for WrestleMania weekend. So, if you’re heading to the area, be sure to hit us up.
Watertown Mile Long Yard Sale (April) – It’s a tradition unlike any other.
NFL Draft (May) – It’s in Nashville next year, so hopefully we’ll have a spot to set up and broadcast from. But, if not, we’ll at least be down there watching and hanging out somewhere.
2nd Annual SoBros Comedy Invitational (May) – Many of you have asked about this, and YES – we are bringing it back. But, this year, we’re going to be doing it a little later in the year. Content usually slows down in May, and we feel that’s the best time to focus more of our efforts into making a better show. Exact date and venue TBD.
Big Natural’s Birthday Party (June) – I’m turning 33 next June. FML. Anyway, we’re going to party somewhere.
Scenic City Invitational (August) – I think 2018 pretty well solidified it – if they’re going to keep running SCI, the SoBros are going to keep coming. It’s never too early to start training your liver.
SoBrowl I (Labor Day) (September) – We wanted to host our first annual flag football game this year, but when it came time to do it, we realized what a tall task it was going to be on top of our other scheduled activities. So, this year, we decided to bump it up and do it before the season actually starts.
Titans Viewing Party (September) – A lot of fun at JB’s Pour House this year, so we’re adding it to the calendar again for 2019, just bumping it up a couple of months.
The Big Hang IV (October) – FOUR YEARS? Holy shit – it’ll be FOUR YEARS since we had our first SoBros get together? Wow. This one is fun and laid back with no them other than ‘let’s hang out and drink.’ Always a good time – we’ve held it at Buffalo’s Billiards, Riverfront Tavern, and The Corner Pub Mount Juliet. We’ll see where 2019 takes us.
Nashville Film Festival (October) – They bumped it back to October, but we’re still hopeful of sending Brandon back to cover it if they’ll have us.
Nashville Christmas Parade (December) – Hopefully I’m in town for it next year and hopefully there’s JUST as much drama as there was this year for us to cover.
