Every Friday, we here at the SoBros Network like to give you a proper sendoff into your weekend. Something to make you laugh, something to make you happy, something to make you cry, whatever you want to call it. But, anyway, we figured why not give this special column a name? So, here we are, folks – it’s the Friday Feel Good. This week, we are going to watch Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty sink a half court shot.
Another long hard work week in the books so you guys are ready for your weekly dose of goodness in this world. We’re counting down the hours until #GinFriday, and today, your mood boost is coming courtesy of the unquestioned sports mascot of the year, Gritty.

Man, we’re going to be putting together our watch list for the 2019 ‘SoBro of the Year’ honors, and I think Gritty has more than earned his spot on that list. There’s just simply nobody out on the town putting in the work that he is. He’s a bastion of GSD and uplifts everyone around him.
Everything this thing touches turns to gold. Including his bringing the heat on this half court shot. My God, is there anything this guy/thing can’t do? Sick dance moves: check. Strong social media game: check. Randomly showing up at weddings: check. Hitting half court shots at basketball games: check. The dude checks all the most important boxes that a mascot should check, and he gets the crowd pumped up wherever he goes. That’s the mark of a true legend.
I don’t know about you guys, but I am FIRED UP right now. I’m high on life, and I’m ready to run through a brick wall for Gritty. Let’s go tear da club up.
