2018 Iron Bowl Drinking Game

Can you believe it? It’s already time for the 2018 Iron Bowl. In my book, there’s no rivalry more heated, there’s no rivalry more personal, and there’s no rivalry that’s better in all of college football. You can keep your Michigan-Ohio State. I’ll take Alabama-Auburn eight days a week. Seeing as how we are the official unofficial kings of the drinking game (trademark pending), I figured it was our responsibility to the great fan bases on both sides of this rivalry to try out an Iron Bowl drinking game this year. So, let’s not waste any more time – there’s a lot to digest here. LFG.

2018 Iron Bowl Drinking Game

Take a drink if/when…

*Any announcer mentions that this is the “83rd annual” Iron Bowl. This alone could give you alcohol poisoning.

*Someone calls Tua Tagovailoa the “Heisman front-runner.”

*They bring up the “Kick Six” from 2013. Take another drink if you’re a ‘Bama fan. Actually, take another drink if you’re a Tigers fan, too. That shit was wild.

*Jarrett Stidham throws for 200+ yards.

*Tagovailoa throws for 300+ yards.

*They mention Auburn’s inexplicable loss to Tennessee.

*Someone questions whether or not this Alabama team is “one of the greatest Alabama teams of all time.”

*Alabama misses a field goal.

*Anyone mentions Alabama’s “struggle” to beat The Citadel.

*Gus Malzahn is mentioned as “being on the hot seat.”

*Someone refers to Ryan Davis as “Auburn’s all-time leading receiver.”

*Jerry Jeudy goes over 100 total yards.

*Tagovailoa plays in the 4th quarter.

*Someone mentions Stidham as a “potential NFL quarterback.”

*Any of Alabama’s receivers or tight ends score a 40+ yard touchdown.

*Anyone mentions that the first Iron Bowl was played in Birmingham.

*They show how Alabama lost the Iron Bowl last year, but went on to win the National Championship.

*Angry Nick Saban is shown on camera.

*Someone mentions Quinnen Williams as the first potential pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

*They show Cam Newton and the big comeback win for Auburn in 2010.

*Auburn scores 20 points.

*JaTarvious Whitlow gets 10+ carries.

*Josh Jacobs gets 8+ touches.

*We get a Roy Upchurch shoutout.

*Najee Harris gets nine or more carries.

Take a shot if/when…

*Alabama covers the spread.

*Hale Hentges catches a pass.

*Stidham posts 4+ rushing yards (he has three all season).

*Alabama misses an extra point.

*Anyone specifically mentions the Morrill Land Grant Act of 1862.

If you’re going to drink, drink responsibly and reasonably today. Enjoy another Iron Bowl in the books!
