The Oakland Raiders are laughably bad this year. They got stomped by a damn good Los Angeles Chargers team yesterday 20-6. It marked their fifth loss in a row, as this team has now stunk its way into the worst record in the NFL: 1-8. To make matters infinitely worse, you had quarterback Derek Carr throwing the ball into the dirt on 4th down with several minutes left in the game and his team down 14 points.

Well, in case you were wondering how the Raiders season was going, this clip about sums it up. Like, this is the entire 2018 Oakland Raiders in a single video. Just dumb.
I loved the look on the face of Jon Gruden after it happened. You know the one – this look:
That’s not a photo from this game, but it’s the closest I could find to the look he gave after his quarterback threw an incomplete pass directly into the dirt on 4th down.
He was probably thinking, “how quickly can I get another first round pick for this guy?”
Thing is – Gruden only trades away his BEST players. Carr has not been playing well enough to qualify to be traded from the Raiders. I have absolutely no idea what this franchise is doing. Week after week, this team keeps losing, and Gruden keeps assuring the media that he’s NOT losing on purpose.
“I know the team sucks and I keep trading away our best players, but I SWEAR GUYS….”
I don’t know, man – I can’t help but wonder, “this is what y’all paid $100 million for?” Definitely dark days for Raiders fans.
But tonight, we have the 49ers and Giants. Next week, we have the Raiders and Cardinals. Who says these teams aren’t playing important games in November? We have the top pick in the 2019 NFL Draft on the line, folks!
