Mike Vrabel Pulled Out the Boxing Gloves for Titans Practice Today…Literally…

It has to have been a rough week for the Tennessee Titans. Coming off a dreadful one-point loss to the Buffalo Bills in a game that the Titans probably should have won was bad enough. But, getting absolutely demoralized by the Baltimore Ravens redefined rock bottom. So, naturally, the master of motivation, head coach Mike Vrabel, decided to pick this spot to send a message to the team….with boxing gloves.

Courtesy of the living legend Jim Wyatt:

I like the imagery. I like the symbolism. But, I don’t know if simply wearing the boxing gloves and gently jabbing players as they ran by really got the message across. This team needed to see that it had been knocked to the fucking mat and the ref was at 8 (counting – as refs do…in case you don’t know how boxing works).

In my humble journalistic opinion, Vrabel should’ve straight clocked somebody. Big Diesel. Coach got an ass – time to put that explosion to good use. You put on boxing gloves, you better damn well be prepared to knock somebody out, you know? You get your point across by jacking Daren Bates upside his helmet. Of course, you throw a haymaker in a way that no one gets CTE. I’m not sure how that’s possible, but I’m sure it is. We’re talking about the elite sports mind of our generation.

Why Bates? No reason – just completely at random. Thanos style.

You remind this team that it is in a dogfight now. They’ve been knocked down, and if they want to get back up, they’re going to have to PRACTICE. #BeBetter, motherfuckers! So, it was a big time football genius move, but let’s appreciate it for the big time alpha move it was as well.

This is why Mike Vrabel is the king of the got damn jungle. Mike Vrabel wears the crown, bitches. Titan up.
