Ah, yes – that time of the year again. It’s time for the 2018 SoBros Awards. If you didn’t know by now, we love giving out awards. But, this is something we’ve been kicking around for several months now – our very own “Spirit of Nashville” awards. Nothing overwhelming – just four simple awards.
Think about it. What do we love? What is SoBros Network all about? Eating and drinking.
Hot chicken and beer. That’s the kind of shit that this company was built upon. So, that’s why we kept it simple. That, and we just didn’t want to put in the immense amount of work that the Nashville Scene puts into their impressive, all-encompassing “Spirit of Nashville” ballot.
And, then there’s also the fact that relatively nobody actually knows who we are. But, hey – that hasn’t stopped us from doing literally anything ever, so why would it start now?
The SoBros ‘Spirit of Nashville’ 2018 Awards
I’m sure you’re all wondering what the technical parameters are for determining the nominees. Let me give you all a little bit of insight into our extensive process:
I went to the SoBros team and said, “hey what do y’all like?”
They offered up suggestions.
Here we are.
And, for clarification of the word “spot,” I will quote myself:
“The place you go when you’re stressed out, no special occasion is needed, and you just need to decompress. It is, quite simply, a great spot to hang. “
