The Waffle House Food Truck Makes Me Proud to Be an American

News broke a little bit ago that the Waffle House food truck was a thing. I celebrated. That’s a grand idea – portable Waffle House that can literally go anywhere that has the luxury of a paved road.

But, it wasn’t until recently that I found out you can actually have the Waffle House truck cater your live events, and that, folks, is a mind-blowing revelation.

Have a birthday, wedding, family reunion or bar/bat mitzvahs on the calendar? Now you can cater the event with a food truck from Waffle House.

The Atlanta based restaurant chain is now renting out its food truck for private events nationwide.

“Our newest and most popular addition to Waffle House is our FOOD TRUCK,” Waffle House said on its website. “Used for private events only, the Food Truck brings our unique experience right to YOU!! We can pull up and cook your desired menu choices for you and your guests.”

Alright, we’re gonna go here:

I have the biggest freedom boner right now.

This is what it’s all about, people. This is America. It’s not enough to have a Waffle House at virtually every interstate exit in the South. We want our Waffle Houses to have wheels and be able to travel anywhere in the country. That’s freedom. That’s what the brave men and women who have taken up arms to defend our country’s honor have fought for.

And, here we are. What’s that? A single tear trickling down my cheek? That’s pride. Who says the United States isn’t a progressive country? I don’t see anywhere else in the world with a motorized Waffle House yet.
