Butch Jones Looks Like the Kid Who Is Happy That School Started Back Up

This site has made fun of Butch Jones so much that I’m at a point where I feel bad. Ah, who am I fooling? Last I checked, this was a comedy brand. And, Alabama head coach Nick Saban hiring Jones as a glorified intern is comedy gold. So, I saw this photo making the rounds on Twitter yesterday and had to share it because it’s funny as hell.

Notice how practically everyone around Jones is either not attentive, asleep, or they look like they’d rather be anywhere else in the world. But, not Jones! No sir – he is eager to learn. He is that kid that shows up to the first day of school excited that summer is over and thankful that he can finally dig into useful knowledge again! Everyone else is reminiscing about what they did over the break, and he’s the one shushing people because he can’t hear the instructions from the teacher.

Or, maybe he’s like the classroom deputy, making sure the players aren’t doing things they shouldn’t be while the big boy coaches actually teach things. “Don’t worry, Butch – it’ll be your turn to teach just as soon as we need someone to talk about trash cans, fake championships, and tired cliches.”

Like I said, hate to rain down on the guy – but this is just too easy.
