Every Friday, we here at the SoBros Network like to give you a proper sendoff into your weekend. Something to make you laugh, something to make you happy, something to give you a raging boner, whatever you want to call it. But, anyway, we figured why not give this special column a name? So, here we are, folks – it’s the Friday Feel Good. This week, we’re taking a look at a dude who has decided to hijack the Tour de France with some sick stunts.
Another slow work week in the books. Just seems like everything is dead right now – site traffic is down, sales are down, general interest in everything seems to be down. No real sports action unless you’re into regular season MLB….it’s like we’ve made it to that point in the Summer when everyone is just over it all. Once the 4th of July passes and everyone has been on their vacation, people are just like, “okay, let’s get on with it – enough hot weather and Summer.”
So, maybe we’ve just made it to that point. I don’t know – Hobby Lobby is already putting out Fall decorations. We’re chomping at the bit to get to football season (if you can’t tell by all of our SEC coverage this week).
With all that in mind, though, we still have to make sure the Friday Feel Good is taken care of. We have to have a positive video to send you guys into the weekend happy, and folks – I have found quite the clip this week.
As usual, here’s a link in case Instagram takes this down.
Man, that’s the kind of ambition it takes to succeed in this world.
At least, that’s the hope.
I hope this was a planned stunt. If not, then this guy could be in some serious trouble. Could you imagine? You’re just going for a leisurely bike ride then BOOM suddenly you’ve ramped over the Tour de France and have no control over your bike or your body. Sounds terrifying.
Regardless, it’s a thing of beauty. At least what we can see is. This guy could be dead for all we know. We didn’t make it that far into this stunt with this four second clip.
Also, I love the announcers’ subtle amazement by this guy. I just wish they had cut the audio from the slow motion replays. The longer it went on, the more I felt like the devil was trying to talk to me.
Happy Friday, guys – whatever you do, stay safe out there. Celebrate life. Wave at the haters. All that stuff.
