I Think I’ve Found the Location for SoBros HQ and It’s Derek Jeter’s $14.75m Castle

There are a whole hell of a lot of pain points when you’re trying to start a business. That is for damn sure. They don’t particularly make it easy to just open up shop all willy nilly, and sure – that’s good for a lot of reasons. But, it doesn’t make the headaches go away. Take finding a location for your operations, for instance. It’s hard finding a spot that really vibes with what you’re trying to do. Thankfully, Derek Jeter may be here to help us out in that regard.

As Derek Jeter tries to figure out how to run the baseball team he owns in Miami, the legendary New York Yankees shortstop recently put his 12,590-square-foot, castle-like mansion on the market for $14.75 million, according to its Trulia listing.

Located on more than 4 acres with a nearly 700-foot shoreline, the estate looks a lot like the type of home you would expect of someone who made more than $266 million during his 19-year professional baseball career (not including endorsements).

This includes luxurious absurdities like four indoor kitchens, three houses (main house, guest house, pool house), an infinity pool, a lagoon, a waterfall, a game room, an elevator and a widow’s walk overlooking the lake. Oh, and a replica Statue of Liberty. Because why wouldn’t a New York icon like Derek Jeter have one of those in his yard?

You know…we’ve been scouting potential locations for SoBros HQ for the last several months, but this is by far the best looking space we’ve seen. I mean, this place has SoBros written all over it!

We made a checklist of things we need for the SoBros office that reads:

*Waterfall
*Game room
*Elevator
*Widow’s walk overlooking a lake
*Replica Statue of Liberty
*Scrooge McDuck’s vault

Do you know how hard it is to find some of that stuff in Nashville?

I mean – does Derek Jeter’s castle check everything off the list? No. But, we can compromise. We’re well adjusted adults who understand that we can’t always get everything that we want. That’s why we’re so successful.

Now, it’s just a matter of getting our hands on $14.75 million.
