Herbie Brooks and Poppa Bear were kind enough to join me on a brand new episode of the Nashville Sports Night podcast. Lot of stuff to break down with Nashville’s teams this week, which seems kind of odd for late June, but alas – here we are.
Herbie breaks down the NHL Awards, where he only missed three of his predictions. But, the Preds own Pekka Rinne was highly deserving of the Vezina Trophy, which he won Wednesday night. We get an update on the Austin Watson domestic assault arrest, though details are still scarce.
Taylor Lewan is held out of mini-camp last week as his agent and the Titans continue to work on a long-term contract. We discuss whether or not we’re concerned about it at all or if this is a non-issue. Then, we get into Cam Wolfe’s piece on Rashaan Evans training as a kid by chasing horses and whether or not that makes him the terminator.
Somewhere along the way, my phobia of sharks is brought up – not sure what happened there.
But, then we correct course and get into the Kevin Dodd vs. Paul Kuharsky saga.
