Mack, Mall Kiosk Worker, Is Not Happy About Opry Mills Shooting

It’s never good news to hear about a shooting in a public place, and I hope that the victim is okay. Our local news, News 2 WKRN, found a kiosk worker who is legitimately not happy about the Opry Mills shooting because he “couldn’t make no money.”

I don’t blame him!

It’s hard to be a kiosk worker and you often make commission by what you sell. Then, someone had to get all violent, shoot someone, and that threw his livelihood into jeopardy and they shut the mall down.

He didn’t see anything and all he knows is that it’s a pretty day, but he couldn’t make any money.

He’s also not happy about the fact that he’s been outside for two hours, never gets sun, and damn near got a tan from it. He was never scared of the shooting though, because it ain’t really nothing to him.

Hats off to you Mack for never being scared, but just unhappy about not making money. Also hats off to WKRN for finding this gem in the middle of this tragedy.

(Editor’s note: I just want to echo, Smokey here – so often we see people getting on the news to be famous or have their 15 minutes…but not Mack. My man kept it as real as real can get. Salute. -SK)
