Cue up the Suh Watch music. We need Brian Fantana present for this brand new SUH WATCH 2018 update. First of all, prized free agent defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh, cancelled his plans to meet with the Oakland Raiders. It now looks like he’s deciding between the Los Angeles Rams, the New Orleans Saints, and the Tennessee Titans.
Well, our boy Logan Ryan hit the recruiting trail (aka Twitter) to make his pitch for Suh to come to Tennessee:

Mmmmmhhhhmmmm that 0% state income tax is a big damn deal. It’s nice when I file my taxes and they ask, “are you ready to file your state income taxes?” I click yes. Then, I get a nice little notification, “oops – looks like you don’t live in a state that requires this service.” BOOM – HELL YEAH I DON’T!
13% in California?!?! My goodness. That’s a lot…A LOT…of money when you’re talking about NFL contracts.
Gotta love Ryan out there on the Twitter streets shooting his shot, though. And, I mean he’s not wrong….no state income tax….a defensive front that features Derrick Morgan, Brian Orakpo, Jurrell Casey, AND Ndamukong Suh…shiiiiiiiiiit. That’s a defense with some teeth. That’s a group with real superhuman qualities. Send these guys to battle Thanos in Wakanda.
It sounds like Suh’s visit with the Rams went well, and a lot of people are placing Los Angeles as the Suh Watch 2018 front runners. He wants to play alongside Aaron Donald, but shit – so do I. You could trot my ass out there next to Aaron Donald and we’d be a serviceable defensive line. Let’s not act like this Titans D-line is chopped liver.
They were 4th in the league against the run last year for a reason. Jurrell Casey has been one of the most consistently elite defensive tackles in the NFL over the last several seasons. DaQuan Jones is a promising young defensive end. The linebacking corps around them is solid, and the addition of Malcolm Butler gives the Titans secondary THREE excellent cornerbacks. It’s improving all around.
Things aren’t like they were a few years ago. Tennessee is now a place that players should desire to play in. Logan Ryan CLEARLY knows that. Now, it’s just a matter of seeing whether or not Suh will listen.
