Damn – what a news day so far. You got Dion Lewis drawing interest from the Titans. Kermit Davis reportedly being hired away from MTSU by Ole Miss. Now, Titans guard Quinton Spain is tweeting some cryptic shit that we need to address given the time of year.

Spain is set to be a restricted free agent, but I wrote earlier this year that locking him down long term should’ve been a priority for the Titans. And, what? They’re just going to release him after having a down year on an offensive line that had a down year as a whole? That wouldn’t make much sense to me. The guy still has a wealth of talent and hasn’t even reached his potential yet.
Hopefully, this is just a ploy to drum up some interest in working on that long-term deal. Regardless, Spain still has plenty of NFL career left in him, whether it’s in Nashville or elsewhere.
Side note: I have heard from credible sources that Spain is one of the most fun dudes to be around and he very rarely wears a shirt.
