Every season for what feels like the past decade, the NFL makes a trip across the pond for a game in London. Lately, that one game has turned into two or three, as it becomes more and more evident that the NFL is trying to extend its footprint into England.

Multiple outlets are reporting that the Titans will be playing the Chargers in London next year. The good news for the Titans is that they are the “road team” in the game meaning they don’t have to give up one of their 8 games at Nissan Stadium. It also means that the Titans don’t have to play in California which has been a nightmare for them over the years.
***UPDATE*** – sources are reporting the game will be held either 10/21/18 or 10/28/18.
It was inevitable. They’re rotating teams so that everyone has to play over there. It will be fun to cover, and it does mean we’ll get football at like eight in the morning, so that’s pretty cool. No loss of a home game is huge as well. All in all, it worked out about as well as it could given the situation.
I just wonder how much the British really enjoy American football. I mean, it seems like something we’re really trying to force down their throats. They’re not even getting good teams and games.
They were treated to a Vikings-Browns game this season featuring one of the best teams in the NFL slaughtering the absolute worst. Not to mention, the NFL sends the Jaguars over there every year it seems.
You want to see what this shit is all about, why not put a Super Bowl in London? Now, there’s an idea.
