Okay, I’m going to be totally honest with you guys. It’s going to be hard to write this piece without sounding like a drooling pig. I can’t help it. Miesha Tate is bae. She is a bad, bad woman, and I am a weak man who is nothing more than a fanboy. It’s said. I get it. I hear your shaming me.
But, as a journalist, I have to at least try and spit the news with some objectivity, and this definitely qualifies as real life news.
This photo is hilarious. I’ve never seen Mariota look so goofy. This kid is known for his cool and calm demeanor. He keeps an even keel, and is always in control under pressure. This photo exposes him.
Mariota looks like an awkward teenager. First off, I don’t know what’s going on with that shirt. Does it have a collar or does it not? Second, dude – comb your hair. That is teenage bed head if I ever saw it. Pretty sure my hair looked like this in high school when I was waking up at 1PM on Saturdays and rummaging through the pantry to try and find some cereal.
Third, it’s his face. Now, don’t get me wrong. Marcus is a very handsome young man. But, right here, in this moment of weakness, he’s extremely giddy and flashing that awkward half-smile.
Finally, the right hand. Just hangin’ there. This is like the limp fish handshake of side embraces. It’s alright, though. We all go through this awkward phase. Marcus is no different. He’ll be just fine.
